A Course in Miracles Therapy

Who this is for

If you’re a student of A Course in Miracles, you’ll know it isn’t always easy to find a therapist who understands it. You might have felt you had to translate everything, or leave the Course out of the conversation altogether, just to be understood. Or perhaps your study has stirred up things that feel too big to work through alone - old grief, anger, fear, or a deep resistance to forgiving someone you feel you’re "supposed" to forgive.

You don’t have to leave any of that at the door with me.

My background with the Course

I’ve studied A Course in Miracles for over a decade. I hold a Certificate in ACIM Spiritual Counselling from The Miracle Centre of California, and I completed A Course in Miracles Ministerial Training in 2025. I also wrote A Simple Guide to Peace, my short introduction to the Course.

Alongside this, I’m a trained integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor, NCPS accredited, and I’ve been in practice since 2014. My counselling work is informed by training in Gestalt and Internal Family Systems, and I also use therapeutic coaching, mindfulness and EFT (tapping).

How I bring the two together

Forgiveness, letting go of judgement, noticing where we’re choosing fear instead of love - these sit at the heart of how I work, and they’re things the Course and good therapy both care about deeply.

But I’m a counsellor first. I won’t use the Course to skip past what you’re feeling, or to tell you how you should be feeling. Sometimes we need to really feel the anger or the hurt before forgiveness is possible, and that’s part of the work too. I work in a rational, straight-talking way, with practical tools, psycho-education and techniques you can put into practice between sessions.

We can use the language of the Course as much or as little as is helpful to you. Some people want to work closely with its ideas; others simply want a therapist who won’t raise an eyebrow when they mention the ego or the Holy Spirit. Either is absolutely fine. My work is client led, so we can stay practical, go deeper, or move between the two.

What a first session is like

Before anything else, we have a free 30-minute consultation over a secure video call. It’s a chance for you to tell me a little about why you’re thinking about counselling, and for us both to get a sense of whether we’re a good fit. If it doesn’t feel right for either of us, I may be able to recommend someone else.

If we go ahead, sessions are 50 minutes over secure video through my online portal / app, so you can join from wherever you feel comfortable. In the first session you’re in control. We’ll talk about what’s brought you here, where you are with the Course and how much of it you want in the room, and what you’d like to be different. I usually suggest planning for six to twelve weekly sessions, but it’s your journey and we can adjust as we go.

Sessions are £70 each, with 10% off a block of four.
